SEHEC – Southeast Halloween Enthusiast Convention

About Us

“To serve the Halloween Enthusiast and Paranormal Communities by providing a quality convention to support their avocation. Our purpose is to generate donations to a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue shelter in Florida. Those funds are used to house and care for dogs and horses at the shelter.

Our event benefits a publicly-funded 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue shelter in Central Florida. ALL of our proceeds help keep the facility hosting its rescued dogs and horses, and protected Florida gopher tortoises. Your attendance and donations helps us work toward our goal.

Born out of a decade of Halloween enthusiast gatherings, our event became so popular that we outgrew our previous venues…one of which we had used for the eight years! SEHEC is the next masterful step to bring Halloween enthusiasts and paranormal fans together to learn, share and grow their love for all things spooky.

Our event features a variety of educational seminars, instructional demonstrations, Make-n-Take courses (how-to courses where you bring home the creation you make here with guided assistance), notable guest speakers, Halloween and paranormal product vendors, master artists – even from hit television shows, a costume ball, a hearse show, an off-site tour of an actual haunted venue, and a visit to the the world’s largest bat house (500,000 live bats!) at the University of Florida…all while provides a welcoming atmosphere for Halloween and paranormal fans socializing.

SEHEC’s producer and Halloween zealot, Dr. TerrorEyes, has been involved with Halloween and prop creation for 46 years. He has been a presenter at every major Halloween industry convention since 2010.

SEHEC offers plenty of time to meet-up, catch-up, share ideas, converse, swap props, discuss bigger plans, trade prop designs, and enjoy good ol’ conversations.
